These questions allowed me to be introspective and really think about my life and how it has been in the past few months. Many surveys are more cold and dry, but this poll asked me questions that I believe are important for each person to think about. I'm glad this study is being conducted because the field of psychology needs to study these aspects of positive psychology more frequently.

Thought it was SO interesting!
Frankly, it was a lot of fun to complete. I think everyone should be forced to take that kind of self-evaluation of sorts on a yearly basis, if only to remind everyone where they are, how they got there, and whether they want to be somewhere else ;) I'm curious how it will turn out.
I hope it brings some insight into how women can improve themselves and their role in society.

Interesting questions- you made me think! A few boo-boos: masculine/feminine activities: I am not sure what you mean by those terms. I used both, as I enjoy a wide variety of activities. question about "feeling alone/unloved by everyone" VS "feeling disrespected/inadequate by everyone" -- hard to answer because 'everyone' suggests that the two options are really equal: if everyone disrespects me, probably I am also alone/unloved by everyone... Also for question 6 of this last section, it is not clear whether you refer to my closeness to 'everyone' or 'friends' or 'partner in a relationship' -- my answer would be quite different in each case.

I will pass this along to some of my other friends. It's a very interesting time in my life--I am at a new, comfortable job as a lawyer and am at the point of (finally) contemplating having kids after being married for almost 5 years. I am definitely stressed about how this is going to affect my career and my life in general.

It is a bit long, and it would be good (as is usually good in all surveys) to include a status indicator in addition to the "Next" button.
I feel most of the questions are geared toward women who are younger than I. Another interesting life style poll could focus on women in my age group (45-65) who faced different choices in our lives than under 45 women have -- or so I think!
The work-related questions were difficult to answer for someone in graduate school, which is both a "job"/"career" and "school." Also, it was interesting to be forced to answer some of these questions. Introspective in a way I haven't been in a while.
Some of the questions were very difficult to answer and made me think about things differently.

Dear Shauna, Thank you for giving me the opportunity to participate in your lifestyle poll. I completed it just now and also completed some of the open-ended questions. Very thought-provoking. I relished the opportunity to articulate some of my core beliefs and how my past experiences have been significant to me. Please let me know if you have other questions or if you need people to interview. I would be happy and interested to participate further. I believe that I am pretty rare in my traditional values regarding family, marriage, and career, especially in this day and age. But because I see a broad breakdown in family, marriage, and overall balance, I feel even more strongly about my views and alarmed at how culture is changing and how women especially are suffering for it! Anyway, please send me the results of your study! I would love to read them.
